Officially the start of December!

A lot of people have problems when it comes to entertaining over the holidays. They don’t know what kind of canapes, fingerfoods, starters, platters, etc to make and serve. So instead, masses of people head down to their local supermarket and buy frozen pies, little stale pastry cups they fill with tinned tuna, crappy mayo and bits of corn, or they buy boxes of biscuits, chips, crackers, horrible pates, and slices of cakes with truckloads of sugar and colouring.Their only saving grace is probably the fresh tiger prawns, shelled and sitting on a tray of ice with some Thousand Island sauce and lemon… But who can’t do that? Hell they have these things pre-plattered for you to order!

Unlike many people, I love to entertain. I love canapes and morsels and platters. One of my fav parts of holiday eating! I hope my next few recipe ideas will inspire some readers to get creative, make something these holidays and really have a great party.
